My son is now 11 and obvious...I loved reading this! My son is now 11 and obviously doesn't need his Momma as much as he used too. I find myself holding on even tighter and my husband reminds me often that I need to "loosen up the strings" a little bit. It's so sad :( My daughter is only 1 so I can't compare them just yet..but the difference between my son and my niece (who is 1 month older) is CRAZY! I also have two sons. Both are very, very different. Although I don't love any one kid more than the other, it's been much easier raising my boys.
