Blog # 1, Take 2

I started my blog on Sunday but when I hit "post" it disappeared. Don't you love when that happens? Anyway, so here it is... Blog # 1, Take 2!

I've always wanted to start a blog but never knew what to write about or if people would even care to read about what I had to say. But now that I have had a kid and I have many friends and family who live far away and don't get to see him on a regular basis, I thought I would start a blog! So here goes...

For those of you who don't know, Mason Noah Birenbaum was born on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 3:36pm, weighing 7lbs 8oz and measuring 19 inches. Now they say "mother knows best" but I didn't really realize how right that was until Mason was born. Just for fun a few days before Mason was actually born, I posted a little poll on Facebook to have people guess what day he would be born, how long he would be and how much he would weigh. And it turns out... I was closest! I guessed July 19, 7lbs 10oz and 18 1/2 inches. Who knew?! Guess my motherly instincts are working! My little man will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and I CANNOT believe it! Feels like forever ago and just yesterday at the same time that Mason was born. My life has changed dramatically since that day but 110% for the better. Seth has been amazing throughout the whole thing, I don't know how I got so lucky. I could not be more in love with my little family.

But, speaking of Mason, he's waking up so I better go. More to come later so check back soon! Hopefully by then I will figure out how to customize my page and upload photos! Help and advice is greatly appreciated :)
