Hooray!!! It's baseball's opening day!
Well, technically, if you're being precise, I think yesterday was the official opening day, but really? Who's counting? All I know is that today is the official opening day for the Angels and in my house, that's all that matters. And also, if you're house is anything like my house, from today forward, your TV will be permanently stuck on any channel that has baseball on it. Am I right?
Before I met Seth, I could take baseball or leave baseball. My dad was more of a football fan (Go 49ers!) than a baseball fan, so I definitely didn't grow up watching baseball on TV. But then I met Seth and my love of baseball grew. As did my knowledge of anything baseball. And while I do like baseball now, I'm definitely not as hard core as he is (i.e. following them on Twitter for updates and trader rumors and stats and whatever else he looks up on a daily basis) but I do enjoy watching the games on TV as well as going to the games in person too. And now that we have Mason, it makes it that much more fun. I truly think he enjoys going to the games (even if it is only for the food) but regardless, he's so much fun to take and he gets SO excited when a good play happens and that makes me enjoy the game even more.
So, now enough talk. Let's get to some pictures. Because as a mom, you KNOW I love a good photo op of my little Angels fan wearing his favorite team's apparel.
And for old times sake... here are a few photos from the past. Believe it or not, these were my favorites. There are more. Lots more. #bloggerproblems
When Mason was a baby, we had professional pictures taken of him. We happened to bring Seth's Angels hat and it started a tradition...
First Angels game -- September 2012. Clearly happy about it!
I mostly only wear my Angels shirts to the games, but as you can tell, Mason sports the Angels apparel anywhere he goes from Lowe's for a Kids Workshop to the park to Disneyland... as does Seth (who wears his Angels hat almost everyday to work)!

ReplyDeleteTiny baseball Mason! Adore.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the old pictures of Mason!!! Those ones with Seth's hat are priceless!! Woo hoo for baseball season!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures from the past! So cute! I'm going to be linking up on Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteSo much baby Mason in one post!! I can't handle the cuteness. And with his t-ball set... I die! Liam starts t-ball in May and I can hardly wait!
ReplyDeleteLove the walk down memory lane with the baby photos! And I'm impressed with your action photos... I didn't have much luck with Noah this year. Is Mason a lefty or just batting lefty? Noah seems to keep switching it up these days.
ReplyDeleteCutest Angels fan and OBVIOUSLY a born-and-bread fan!! Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this! Baseball is such a fun sport! I'm so glad we have a local minor league team we can go see often!
ReplyDeleteWow, yea, he was an Angels fan from day one! Ha! Today is the Brewers' opening day as well but, of course, they'll be playing while I am at work so I won't see it but I was sporting my Brewers gear over the weekend & got pictures. I'll linkup shortly. :)
ReplyDeleteBaby Mason! So cute! I have to admit I'm really not into baseball that much, but I do enjoy the food! :)
ReplyDeleteMason is such a cutie! The best thing about baseball is that it's a tradition you can share forever. We haven't braved taking our little ones to a game yet, but maybe in the near future! In the meantime, we'll just tune into our Rangers on TV. Thanks for hosting this link-up!
ReplyDeleteCutest Angels fan ever! And BTR wears his Cardinals hat everywhere too! I'm pretty sure Jude will be the same way soon enough!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you take Mason to the games so often!! Slightly (totally) jealous your team is so close!
ReplyDeleteAnd oh goodness. Let's talk about those newborn photos? I'm dying. The cuteness is too much!
Oh my goodness, those throwback shots of Mason are so cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy Opening Day/week! I totally forgot about this linkup but we are very excited about the start of baseball here too! Let's go Pirates! And I don't think I have ever seen pictures of Baby Mason before. Sooooo adorable!
ReplyDeleteEvelina @ Fortunate House
Gahhh! Those pictures just make me happy! Kinsey's first game was a double header at O.co Stadium at 4 months old. Tonights game however, not so happy.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, all those flash back pictures. I can't take it, where did that little baby go! I love the t-ball pictures. I almost bought Avery a set at Target last week then envisioned Luke chasing after her with the bat and realized waiting another year may be a better idea!
ReplyDeleteSwooning over these baby Mason pictures!!!! How sweet is he?!?! :)
ReplyDeleteThose little T-ball toys are the best. Kind of makes me wish I had gotten one for my girls when they were smaller. I swooned over those throw back photos. So many happy baseball memories and goodness he has grown SO much even over the last year or so.
ReplyDeleteThose throwback baseball pictures has my heart melting. How are our boys so BIG?
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed this post originally! But, I love it. The throw-back pictures are awesome! Cute little Mason! I bet he'd make a cute Rangers fan, too...we already know he looks good in red. :) hee hee!
