I'm excited to be back again today co-hosting this blog hop with Becky and some other fabulous ladies!
Since it was $8.99 though, I knew I needed something cheap to go along with it so I didn't go over on my $10. When I found these Lindt chocolates (my fave!!!) for $1.09, I knew they were perfect.
However, $8.99 + $1.09 gets you a little more than $10... and this was the first month I've gone over the $10 limit! I actually though I had calculated my total correctly but trying to take into account the deducting 5% for the red card and then adding tax, I didn't do a very good job. BUT since I've been so under the past couple times, I figure that evens it out, right? Right. Or at least that's the story I'm sticking to :)

Next month, we'll be sharing our hauls on Monday, February 22nd. Becky is toying with the idea of making it a link up instead of a blog hop. A link up has the flexibility that if you aren't in one month, no biggie, you can participate in next month. A link up also has the capability for lots of people to join and share their $10 hauls. What do you think? Would you like to join us in a $10 at Target monthly link up?
I definitely think the 26 cents is forgivable. ;) Target is weird about their inventory - I know I've purchased OPI polish at some point. Maybe their inventory varies by store or even state? Anyway, you got some fun stuff!

You are making me want to test this little $10 spending challenge out! I am loving your posts on these. Those yummy chocolate truffles would definitely end up in my cart at some point!!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to try this challenge. And that Orly Bonder? Amazing stuff! I've been using it for years!
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with chocolate! I like this idea and may use it to justify my Target purchases every month :)
ReplyDeleteI'd participate in a linkup next month! Such a cool idea. I'll have to try that bonder. I bought the Essie gel top coat and my nails chip within 2 days! Such a bummer.
ReplyDeleteoh fun! I'll link up next week! And I don't think I'm going to count the $0.26! :)
ReplyDeleteI would totally be down to join in on a Target link up! Actually I was just there yesterday and thought about this! Great timing ;)
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about that bonder. You'll have to let me know how it works. Sompe people use it under their jams!

ReplyDeleteI love Lindor chocolate! I always forget about this link up. Is it the the 3rd Monday of every month?
ReplyDeleteI am so doing this linkup next month!
ReplyDeleteI swear I've seen OPI at Target...
ReplyDeleteAnd you totally get a little wiggle room with going over this time. I'm just impressed anyone can go into Target and spend less than $50.

DeleteI love when you can pick up chocolate for a "good reason" and this blog hop is a pretty good excuse don't you think?
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to these posts! I would love for this to be a linkup. It would be a huge challenge to only spend $10 in Target!! Today I went for twine and left with $27 worth of everything but twine! haha
