Hey There, Friday!

Happy Friday!!! I feel like it's been weeks since I've done a little random Friday post, so a couple of these things are a little old, but worth sharing still. Get ready for some randomness!

ONE.
Planner stickers.

I got these new stickers for my planner a little over a month ago, but I don't think I ever shared here. I had contacted the shop owner, Amy, to see if she could do some custom stickers for me. I asked for ABA stickers and speech (SP) stickers and she rocked it! I didn't want anything elaborate and she came up with these blue colored stickers with each therapy listed on the side. Mason has ABA five times a week and speech three times a week and it was getting a bit overwhelming to write everything out, so it was so wonderful to be able to have stickers and I could just fill in the times. I'm all about making my planner colorful and inviting and these were perfect! If you're looking for planner stickers, I HIGHLY recommend working with Amy from Plan In Color or just browsing her Etsy shop!

TWO.
The show, The Catch.

Is anyone else watching this? It's the newest addition to TGIT on ABC and at first I thought it was going to be stupid, but after just one episode, I'm obsessed! I'm loving the storyline and the characters!

THREE.
Alex and Ani.

I've been obsessed with my Alex and Ani bracelets since my mother in law got them for me for my birthday. She got me the motherhood one, the autism puzzle piece one, the green one, and a present one (not pictured). I've been wanting a blue one (like the green one) for forever. They were online but I wasn't wanting to spend the money and then all of a sudden they were gone. I was bummed! My friend told me that they sell them at Nordstrom Rack so I went there one day looking for it. Nothing. I was bummed again. I had to go to Nordstrom to buy something and I thought, I'll just look. I'll pay full price if I can find it to not miss out again. Lo and behold, I found it! I was fully prepared to pay full price ($38) when the salesperson told me my total was a little over $10. Huh? Yep! I guess they were discontinued and it was on sale for $9.97!!! Score!

FOUR.
Teacher Appreciation.

I made these teacher appreciation gifts for Mason's teachers last week for Teacher Appreciation Week. I also made some for his ABA therapist and his speech teachers. They all teach him and have helped him tremendously so I wanted to include all of them. There are nine of them total, so it was a little pricey, but I wanted to make sure they knew how much we truly love and appreciate them for all they do, so it was the least that I could do.

The gift was super easy to make -- all you need is some card stock, the free printable (found here), some baker's twine, and a Target gift card. Last year I made something similar but with Starbucks gift cards and they were just as big of a hit with everyone!

FIVE.
Michael's signs.

I was at Michael's the other day looking for a new vase when I came across these signs. Swoon! I SO wish I had a house or somewhere to store these because... LOVE! I pretty much want them all - eat, home, love. If I had a house, I would have scooped all of them up - I mean... 60% off!

SIX.
Finding Dory cereal.

A random, fun find at Costco. We didn't buy any but seriously how cute is this??? Like Lucky Charms but Finding Dory!

SEVEN.
Elevate blog conference.

Desiree and Erin and I are off to our very first blog conference this weekend! I'm super excited to spend the day with them and hopefully learn a thing or two (or twenty) about blogging/photography/social media/everything! I even got some business cards made (super last minute aka yesterday or I would show you a picture) which make me feel all official! I'll be sure to report back (hopefully) next week on how it went.

Happy Weekending!

  1. There is so much I love in this post. Those stickers are awesome. I've seen her stuff on IG and need to actually go look. Ani and Alex bracelets are so much fun. I don't usually wear bracelets so I don't have any yet, but maybe I need to change that. The teacher gifts you made are so sweet. I'm sure Mason's teachers loved them. Can't wait to hear about the conference. Have so much fun!

  4. Have fun at your conference. I want to go to one but there aren't many in my area and well, the idea of driving to one solo makes me sad. Why oh why do I have to be in Ohio?

    Fishy charms!
Those signs are so fun. I have no idea how I'd put them anywhere because I'm not decoratorly talented, but I love the home one!
Score on that bracelet! I have the birthstone one but I think I packed it when we were moving. Along with my extra cheese grater which has become very annoying while cooking...

  9. I love Planner Stickers! I would never watch the Catch...Shonda Rhimes ruined my former favorite show, Scandal, and it sounds like the Catch is very similar to her regular show format! Have fun at the conference!
