Ten on the Tenth [A Day in the Life : March]

Tuesday, March 15, 2016

I've seen a couple people do these posts and I've always wanted to do one. I don't really think my typical, everyday weekdays are exciting enough to take ten pictures on normally, but on this particular tenth day of the month, it was Seth's birthday so I thought this would be a fun little way to document the day.

Even though March 10th was Seth's birthday, it was business as usual for the majority of the day. Seth went off to work like normal and I finished getting myself and Mason ready and we headed off to work and school like normal.

But first, we stopped to take a selfie. Sometimes he is cooperative, sometimes not. Today he wasn't too into it, so I was trying to make funny faces to get him to smile. We ended up with this and I kind of love it.

We stopped by the post office because I needed to mail something and of course I let Mason mail it. Nothing makes him happier than being a little mail man!

We finally got to school and I attempted another selfie. This one was slightly better. I think he's perfected the duck face.

9:51am
Eating a cupcake. Hey it's my Seth's birthday, no judging.

I got off work a little early and was too early to pick up Mason so I headed over to a local Starbucks to blog a little.

Happy Birthday to me Seth! I scheduled my Stitch Fix to arrive on March 11th but it came a day early. Nice little surprise when I got home!

Mason had his home ABA session and we practiced spelling words. Cake seemed pretty appropriate for Daddy's birthday!

Since Seth is the one that normally (always) cooks dinner, I thought it would be nice to go out on his birthday and give him the night off. I told him to choose where he wanted to go and he chose Lucille's. I definitely didn't complain. Their biscuits and apple butter and fried green tomatoes are THE. BEST.

Family selfie!

Back home and ready for bed. Mason recently got Stripes (the yellow monster truck) for doing SO good at going pee pee in the potty and now he won't go anywhere without his Blaze monster truck and his Stripes monster truck!

And there you have it! A few snap shots of our not so typical Thursday in March!
