Monday, April 3, 2017

I seriously haven't done one of these posts in FOREVER (well May 2016 to be exact... almost a full year! yikes!) and thought it would be a fun way to share some things that I'm loving right now.

Contemplating // Mac + Mia. Anyone tried it? From what I understand it's kind of like Stitch Fix for kids! Fun but... expensive for something that Mason will just outgrow in a year max or destroy before then. I like the idea, but I'm kind of cheap (i.e. I shop the sales at Old Navy 98% of the time) so I'm not sure I'll ever actually do it.

Drinking... out of // my new Hydroflask water bottle. I bought this 24 oz mint green Hydroflask and this straw topper. I'm obsessed. I love that I can drink out of a straw (my favorite!), that it keeps my water cold for HOURS, and that it has a big enough mouth that I can fit ice cubes in it!

Eating // Skinny Pop. We literally bought a giant bag at Costco. It's bad, but oh so good.

Excited about // April and Autism Awareness Month. I have some fun posts planned for this month, some collaborations with people, some just by myself, but I'm excited to share more about our autism journey. I know that might not appeal to everyone, so feel free to skip if you're not interested, but I have been wanting to share a little more of our story, some resources I found helpful, and some "week in the life" type stuff with you all and thought this would be the perfect time to do so. I've always said, if my story can help even one person, than it was worth sharing and I've actually had a couple people email me in the past which just makes my heart so happy. Even if they aren't in the same situation as me, I love being able to share our story, how far we've come, and hopefully give them some comfort because I know how scary and overwhelming it can be on Day 1.

Favorite Appliance // Ninja coffee maker. We got a new coffee maker recently (replaced our Keurig) and it's amazing! I was in love with our Keurig, but really, this coffee maker is so much better.

Learning // that you can turn off the bloglovin reader function on bloglovin. I think it was Jess who told me this and I was so excited! I always hated the bloglovin reader function and prefer to go straight to their page, so this was awesome news!

Obsessed with // my Letterfolk board. If you follow me on Instagram, you know this. I even started my own hashtag for my boards. Ha! But really, I love them! Do yourself a favor and follow Letterfolk on Instagram too. They post the BEST boards! I even got Seth to start following so you know it's good!

Playing // Zingo. Times two. I asked for Zingo Sight Words for Christmas/Hanukkah for Mason and he got it and LOVES it. In fact we played it approximately 2836253 times in a row, so I had to get the regular version to add a little variety so I didn't go crazy. But seriously, it's super fun!

Thankful for // this online community. Words can't even begin to describe how lucky I feel to have connected with such amazing people through blogging and Instagram. So thankful and so lucky.

Using // Our new Dyson. We got a Dyson (I feel so gown up!) at Costco when it was on sale a month or so ago and I'm loving it! They are pretty pricey but they work so well and this one is amazing because it's battery powered and we can use it to clean our cars too!

Wearing // Lucky Brand Flats. I'm obsessed! You might have noticed that I wear them in like every picture I post, but seriously, they are so comfortable and cute! Thank you, Becky, for introducing me to them! (see above Letterfolk photo!)

Watching // Trolls. On repeat. I love that Justin Timberlake song "Can't Stop the Feeling"! Oh and Mason likes the movie too. Haha!

C U R R E N T L Y // May.

Monday, May 9, 2016

Well, it looks like more months that I originally planned have come and gone. I was planning on doing one of these posts each month but February slipped right on by and then March did too.... and then April did also! And here we are in May! Maybe I should start planning on doing these quarterly ;)

C U R R E N T L Y ::

Celebrating // Mother's Day! Well I guess celebratED. Past tense. Yesterday.

Mother's Day was wonderful this year! We didn't do anything crazy or elaborate, but that's how I like it. The day started off with Seth letting me sleep in until 8am (all the praise hand emojis!) and then he and Mason bringing me breakfast in bed! I never get that so that was quite the treat. Then I hung out with them for a bit, opened my cards, ate some newly acquired See's Candy and then got ready to go meet my mother in law and sister in law for a massage. Let me tell you. THAT was wonderful. I think the last time I had a massage was LAST year Mother's Day so this was also quite the treat. We then stopped by See's Candy to pick up some last minute things and then I came home to take a shower and have lunch. Mason napped, Seth went grocery shopping, I blogged a little, and then we all went over to my mother in law's house for a bit before we met the rest of the family for dinner at Lazy Dog Cafe. It was the perfect ending to the weekend and a wonderful day spent celebrating all the moms!

Drinking // Green Smoothies. Specifically this peach pineapple green smoothie.

Eating // Salted Caramel Frozen Yogurt with Salted Caramel Sauce. From Yogurtland. OBSESSED.

Excited about // Becoming a contributor for the Anaheim Moms Blog! I mentioned it a little bit last week when my first post went live, but I wanted to explain a little more. After hearing that Vanessa joined the Kansas City Moms Blog and Colleen joined the San Francisco Moms Blog, I thought I'd look into my area and see if there was a Moms Blog around here. To my surprise, I found the Anaheim Moms Blog! I followed them on Facebook and then found out that they were accepting applications to be a contributor, so I figured... why not? I emailed the person in charge, she asked me a few questions, I answered them for her, I asked my friends for some advice, and here we are! My first post actually went last week (you can find it here) and I'm super excited and nervous all at the same time!

Featured On // Stitch Fix's blog! Stitch Fix has a blog where they post Stitch Fixer's reviews of certain items. I got an email a couple weeks ago from Stitch Fix letting me know that I would be featured on April 25th, which I thought was really exciting! I definitely don't think of myself as a fashion blogger by any means so it was really an honor that they wanted to feature on of my pictures as well as what I had to say about a certain clothing item. If you want to check out my feature and see which item I'm highlighting, you can find it here.

Freaking Out // Because I thought I deleted all my photos from my computer. But it turns out, they were just "inaccessible for a while", or so the Apple guy said. So per his recommendation, I backed my whole computer up to an external hard drive (yep... had never done that before in all the years I've had it - oops!) and then updated my operating system and THEN synced my pictures back to Photos from the iCloud and bam! We're back in business. It only took about EIGHT hours to get all my pictures synced, so you know how freaked out I was when I thought I lost about 8 years worth of pictures, including all of Mason's life and our wedding. Thank you helpful Apple man!

Listening To // Noise by Kenny Chesney.

Obsessed With // Tulips and Salted Caramel Frozen Yogurt (as mentioned above). Not necessarily together, but I wouldn't be mad if I was enjoying both at the same time.

Proud Of // Mason and his potty training. He's been doing SO GOOD! Sometimes it's kind of hit or miss if he's in a bad mood, but for the most part, I think he is understanding it more. I think I've trained him (lol trained him... encouraged him?) to know that he needs to go to the bathroom before he takes a bath now. We go in to his room, he takes off his clothes, he throws his pull up away, and we walk over to the bathroom. I used to tell him that he needed to try to go to the bathroom, but now he walks over to the toilet, lifts the seat, goes to the bathroom, and flushes the toilet. All without me telling him! Now I just need to train him to put the toilet seat down... Oh! And actually speaking of this, Mason's school sent home a letter last week saying that they are FULL ON starting potty training with him today. He and four other little boys are in for some fun this week! I had to provide 4 sets of underwear and 4 changes of clothes and 2 sets of shoes and socks, so I'm anxious to see how today goes! Those teachers are very brave!

Reading // One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Goodnight Moon. Where Do Diggers Sleep at Night? Pete the Cat : I Love My White Shoes. Pete the Cat Rockin' in my School Shoes.  All per Mason's request, of course.

Thinking About // Mason's birthday. It's not until July but I am terribly bad at procrastinating (or terribly good I guess I should say?) and I know it will sneak up on me before I know it. I found this INSANELY cute shirt the other day while searching for something else that I want to get him and I know that will take time to order. I also think I want to forgo a party again (we did this for him last year), which I know is like a blogger sin, and take him to Disneyland or Legoland instead and incorporate an overnight stay at either the Disneyland Hotel (or one of the hotels there) or the Legoland Hotel (respectively). At this age, I'm all about experiences over parties. Plus, is the party really for him or for me? I don't think he'd even notice if he didn't have a party!

Watching // Angels Baseball. Now that baseball is back, it's pretty much all we watch at night!

Wearing // Pearl and Monroe Baseball Tees.

And there you have it. That's what I've been up to! What have you been up to lately?

C U R R E N T L Y // January.

Wednesday, January 27, 2016

So I haven't done one of these in what feels like FOREVER, but when I looked was actually November. But, let's be honest, November actually FEELS like it WAS forever ago. I mean, that was before New Year's, Christmas AND Thanksgiving! Regardless of how long it's been... it's back now so here are a few tidbits of what I've been up to recently...

C U R R E N T L Y ::

Dreaming about // this past weekend. Last weekend, Erin, Desiree, and I drove an hour and a half to meet up with Sara who happened to be in California for work. I'm SO SO happy that she let us know that she would be here and that we were able to meet up with her. I love LOVE when blogger friends become in real life friends and Sara is just as sweet and wonderful in real life as she is on her blog!

Drinking // this rose. SO good!

Excited about // the fact that Peach Green Tea Lemonade is at Starbucks year round now! It really is the little things! I saw it on the menu the other day and was so excited that it was there in the middle of January. In fact, I was so surprised that I asked the barista if they really had peach and she looked at me like I was crazy.

Listening To // silence. And it's SO WEIRD! As I'm typing this, Mason is asleep. Seth is at softball. And I'm finishing up this post. And it's so, so quiet! (I said this exact same thing back in November, but the same rings true this time too. Apparently I like to write these posts on Tuesdays while Seth is at softball! Ha!)

Loving // these two BFFs. Although we only live like 20 minutes from each other, I wish we lived closer. The boys seriously LOVE playing together so much. I love watching them interact. Though trying to take a non-blurry picture is SUPER hard since they are always GO GO GO!

Making // Valentine's for friends!

Obsessed With // Mason spelling his name. Mmmm - Ahhhh - Sssss - Ohhh - Nnnnn! YEAH! It never gets old. I love how excited he is at the end. Hopefully he doesn't actually think that his name is Mason YEAH though! Ha!

Planning // his big boy room. Big boy got a new bed for Christmas and it finally arrived and we put it together a couple weeks ago. He is officially out of his toddler bed and into a twin bed. I plan to share all about the big boy bed transition and details on the bed (hopefully soon!) and I'm also trying to plan his new room. His old bedding/theme for the room was owls/forest animals and it doesn't totally go with the new theme of dinosaurs. I'm trying to find some new artwork for the walls and some other things. I want it to tie in with the dinosaur theme without being over the top. Anyone care to come interior decorate for me??? :)

Reading // ALL the Pete the Cat books. Per Mason's request.

Taking Advantage Of // free community events. Our local children's museum has an autism night once a month where families with kids with autism can go for free. The museum is closed to the public and only the families who registered can go. Since I work all during the week (when the museum would be less crowded), we never take Mason. But this opportunity is PERFECT since they are open for two hours on the last Monday of the month to kids with autism. I take him for about an hour or so, once a month, and just let him run wild. If you follow me on snapchat, you may have seen a sneak peek the other night, but pretty much he just runs between exhibits the whole time. The first picture here is when we picked up the fruits that were in a basket off to the side and matched them to the corresponding trees. I love that we can turn something fun into a learning experience where he can count how many of each we have and identify the colors. The second picture is of him at the water exhibit -- his FAVORITE place! And the third is when he was filling up his car with gas.

Trying // some new recipes. We've found a few good ones and I'm excited to share!

Visiting // the Post Office. And taking selfies. For my work, I process the payments from the vendors for our events and since we had an event on January 17th, Mason and I were visiting the post office a lot (read : daily). He gets SO excited about opening the PO Box for me (though he refuses to help me carry the mail) and gets even MORE excited when I have something for him to mail! Whenever I can, I always wait until the morning to mail anything because I know how much he loves it.

Wanting // to buy some new tops. But I'm having serious buying issues. Normally it's not a problem, I can commit to buying things, but when it comes to buying things for myself, I have serious buyers remorse! I put it in my online cart and then take forever to actually buy it. I don't know if it's because I feel guilty buying for myself or what, but I always re-think it after I buy it. I actually just bought my FIRST LuLaRoe item the other night from Becky's online sale (a Randy tee!) because I have the HARDEST time committing to something with no return policy. But it was too cute to pass up!

Watching // FIXER UPPERI am SO obsessed with this show! Seriously. I swear I say I want to move to Waco every time I watch it. Just last night they bought a house for $171,000, put $64,000 worth of renovations into it, and had a GORGEOUS, GIANT house. Here? You can't even buy a townhouse for $235,000. In fact, our across the street neighbors are selling theirs for $350,000. Any takers? Wanna be my neighbor? :)

Wearing // skinny jeans. Ever since I discovered skinny jeans a couple months ago, I've been hooked! I don't know why I didn't hop on board this trend forever ago, but I'm not really "trendy" so that's probably why I was so hesitant. But seriously, it allows me to wear the flowy shirts on top that I like while still looking put together on the bottom - it's perfect! So far I've found that I love the ones from Old Navy (in blue jeans and in black), but I'm always looking for other recommendations, so let me know if you have a favorite jean!

Wondering // where the photos I just edited went. I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but sometimes after I edit a picture on my phone in PicTapGo it uploads to iPhoto and sometimes it doesn't. It's on the camera roll on my phone and my phone photos automatically sync with my computer... or they're supposed to. I have NO clue why they don't always because I don't change any settings day to day, but of course, when I need them (like now), they don't upload and I have to email them to myself. Sure, it works, but I feel like the quality is not the best. And really, I'm just left wondering... why?

And there you have it. That's what I've been up to! What have you been up to lately?

C U R R E N T L Y // November.

Wednesday, November 25, 2015

Holy moly this month has gone by too fast! I seriously can't believe that it's THE END of November already... with Thanksgiving officially being tomorrow, the holiday season is now in full swing and I could not be more excited! I meant to post one of these last month but October snuck up on me then came our vacation and here we are... already in November (and November nearly passed me by too!)
Here are a few tidbits of what I've been up to recently...

C U R R E N T L Y ::

Buying // all the Christmas presents! For everyone. I actually started early and am happy to say that I am more than 50% done! Now to start wrapping...

Dreaming about // Owning a home... one day. I think this is an every month thing but every time we go over to our friend's houses who own their own homes, it makes me want one SO. MUCH. MORE.

Drinking // Copycat Starbucks Peach Green Tea Lemonade.

Eating // Broccoli Cheese Soup. I was on the hunt for a good broccoli cheese soup after my disappointment with my copycat Panera recipe and luckily for me, Courtney came through for me with a link to a recipe that she posted a couple years ago. Seth made it for us on Sunday and seriously, it was SO GOOD.

Excited about // Thanksgiving and Christmas! I can't believe they are both already upon us. Thanksgiving first, obviously (tomorrow!), but Christmas will be here before we know it! I have tons of fun things planned for us already, but I feel like there is so much more than we did last year that I'd love to do this year too, but I just don't think there are enough weekends to squeeze it all in. How did we do so much last year???

Feeling // bad. Not bad in the sense that I feel sick. But bad that I feel like I have too much going on and am constantly letting someone down. I literally just finished scrolling through blog posts from a WEEK ago and commenting on them because I just don't have enough time in the day. I want to read too much. I want to do too much. I want to be with too many people. There just aren't enough hours and I feel like I am constantly disappointing someone or letting someone down. And I know I shouldn't apologize for being busy and being behind on blogging, because when life gets busy, blogging definitely takes a back seat, but for some reason I feel like I need to apologize for neglecting my little space and all that goes along with that.

Hating // that all my favorite Fall TV shows are now on winter break until February! And that I had to take Mason to get a blood test to test for allergies yesterday. It's my own fault though because I initiated it, but if you've ever taken your small child to get a blood test, you'll know what I mean. Let's just say... I (well Mason) probably scarred and scared some people in the waiting room with all the screaming and crying going on. Oops. Although it was nothing a lollipop couldn't fix, at least on his end. I don't know about the whole waiting room :)

Listening To // Silence. And it's SO WEIRD! As I'm typing this, Mason is asleep. Seth is at softball. And I'm finishing up this post. And it's so, so quiet!

Loving // that Seth can always make me laugh. Seriously the guy always makes me laugh. In fact just the other night, I was on the computer and he's watching football (see below) and a commercial came on for Lincoln and how Santa bought these people a car for Christmas and then the commercial goes in to how much the car costs, blah blah blah and Seth, out of the blue, goes "Santa's a dick. He got those people car payments for Christmas." LOL! I mean, seriously. Then he continued to laugh, at his own joke, for a good five minutes. Amazing!

Making // Something special for Seth. Shh. It's a secret. Since he reads my blog (hi Seth!) I can't give away any details (and I almost spilled some of the beans the other night when he asked what I snap chatted that day (I told him to get snap chat to see what I post but he refuses and just steals my phone to look at it)), but let's just say, I think he's going to LOVE it. I plan to give it to him early, so check back or follow me on Instagram and I'll be sure to share the details!

Needing // Gas. Totally random to put here, but it's true. I let my tank get down to empty empty empty which is totally unlike me. I'm usually the planner who sees it's at 1/4 full and I head to the gas station. Seth is the one that likes to run on fumes. One of my favorite features of my car is that it tells me how many miles to empty but once it gets below a certain level (30 miles to empty), I guess it can't accurately tell anymore and it just says "low fuel", which is where I'm at. Whomp whomp. Guess you all know where I'll be this morning if you need me!

Obsessed With // Our family photos. Sorry for the over gramming! I'm trying to space them out so it's not a million photos all at once, but seriously, I LOVE them.

Planning // Ahead. Seriously, I like to be prepared. I already have some fun blog stuff planned for 2016 as well as another blogger meet up (or two or hopefully more!) that I am super excited about! Also excited about using my new 2016 Erin Condren planner in the horizontal format - game changer!

Reading // Blogs. Per the usual.

Trying To // Convince Seth that Mason and I need Disneyland passes! :)

Wanting // To buy all the things... for everyone else! Amazon is my best friend and worst enemy. I seriously have like 20+ things in my Amazon cart right now waiting to be purchased. I love adding things to the cart and then hitting "save for later" so it notifies me if prices go up or down. It's so easy so that when I see a good deal, I can snag it!

Watching // football on TV. This pretty much sums up our Sundays every weekend now that it is full on football season.

Wearing // SCARVES. And BOOTS. Hallelujah! California FINALLY thinks it's Fall (well occasionally, it was in the 50's and then the 80's and back in the 50's now) and I can FINALLY wear sweaters and scarves and boots! My favorite!

Wishing // there were more hours in the day. Pretty sure I say this EVERY month, but for real. There just aren't enough hours. I always think I'll get so much done on the weekend and then... it just doesn't happen.

And there you have it. That's what I've been up to! What have you been up to lately?

C U R R E N T L Y // September

Tuesday, September 1, 2015

Happy September! I seriously can't believe that it's September already... I swear this year is flying by! Here are a few tidbits of what I've been up to recently...

C U R R E N T L Y ::

Buying // Fro Yo! Seriously. It's not good. I have an addiction to this salted caramel frozen yogurt. If you have a Yogurtland near you - run, don't walk - and let me know if you love it just as much as I do!

Doing // a DIY project. It's something I've been wanting to do forever, it's almost done and I'm so excited to share more! (ps I guess I should add... Seth is doing most of it, clearly I'm just supervising and drinking wine LOL)

Dreaming about // Fall. I'm not usually one who skips ahead so far, especially to October for the next holiday, and especially because my birthday is right in the middle of summer and fall, but Seth and I went to Home Goods the other day and all the Halloween decorations had me SO EXCITED! Please Fall, please bring cooler temperatures! I'm missing my scarves!

Drinking // Homemade Passion Tea Lemonades. It's seriously so easy to make! I just bought the Tazo iced tea tea bags in the passion tea flavor, brewed the tea in my iced tea maker, made some Country Time lemonade (in a separate pitcher), and then did about half tea and half lemonade and voila! You could definitely add more tea for a less sweet flavor or more lemonade for a more sweet flavor. So good and so much cheaper than Starbucks!

Eating // Pizzas on the grill. SO GOOD. I'm obsessed! And clearly so is Mason. He helped big time the last time we made them and he was SO PROUD!

Excited about // My birthday! It's officially birthday month and the countdown is on. Guess 31 is not old enough to start dreading your birthday :)

Hating // That I've been falling asleep on the couch before 10 pm every night. But what I really mean is "if I'm lucky I make it to 10pm". Seriously, my friend texted me at 9:35pm the other night and what was I doing? Totally sleeping on the couch. I'm so exciting!

Listening To // Nothing really in particular right now. Mainly just the local country radio station, but I'm kinda loving Carrie Underwood's new single "Smoke Break".

Loving // Little man in his big backpack! I don't know why, but seriously this is the cutest thing ever to me! He usually refuses to wear it and while I was out one day, he put on his backpack and Seth snapped a picture. All the heart eye emojis!

Making // S'mores cookies. Every since Whitney mentioned these cookies back in July, I've been wanting to try them. I finally did a couple weeks ago and let me tell you - they are SO GOOD.

Needing // A car wash -- on the outside AND inside! My car is ridiculously dirty on the outside and covered in veggie straws and Cheerios on the inside. It needs a good cleaning - bad!

Planning // For Christmas. I said this last time, but seriously, I am! And I'm so proud! I'm slightly afraid that this will make me spend more money than I normally do because I will forget that I have all these goodies saved up and hidden in my closet, but I'm actually impressed that I'm doing what I say I always want to do and shop early. In fact, I bought a few more things this past weekend!

Reading // Blogs. Per the usual.

Wanting // To sign Mason up for baseball. I mean look at him? How stinkin' cute would it be for him to play baseball/tee ball? And the awesome thing is... he's actually super good at hitting the ball!

Watching // NCIS Season 12. And baseball baseball baseball! We cancelled cable half way through this last season of NCIS and so we had only seen half. Even though we still have basic cable since our HOA pays for that, we would always forget when it was on or would miss it and not want to watch online so now that it's on Netflix, we've been watching an episode or two (or three!) a night. The best part? No commercials AND no "waiting until next week"!
Oh and Bachelor in Paradise - sometimes - when I can handle it. The drama! Oh the drama. Sometimes it's too much and I just have to change the channel. But I watched last night and after that preview, I'm totally in for next week too!

Wearing // Flip flops, short sleeves, and shorts. And I never wear shorts. But it's been S.O. H.O.T. (I believe Desiree said it best last week when she said someone turned the outside temperature on to hell) that I've thrown out my rule of never showing my Casper white legs in public and I've been wearing shorts on the weekends. Like I mentioned earlier, dreaming of Fall!

Wishing // That I had bought tickets to the Taylor Swift concert. Wayyyyy back in like December (?) when the tickets went on sale, I wasn't too into Taylor. But then one of my employees at the bookstore introduced me to her 1989 CD and I fell in love. My sister in law and niece went to the concert last week and I was watching some videos and looking at pictures from the concert they went to the other night and was SO jealous! Next time Taylor comes, I'm going!

Wondering // How Moms can carry so much. This is me, Monday morning. It might not look like a lot, but let me tell you, it was heavy! I'm carrying my purse, my lunch, a bag with Mason's ABA binder and sheets for school, and my coffee. Not pictured : Mason, who I picked up and carried to the car right after I took this picture. And his milk cup that he, of course, made me carry as well.

And there you have it. That's what I've been up to! What have you been up to lately?

A few tidbits of what we've been up to recently...

C U R R E N T L Y ::

Buying // Presents. Presents. Presents! July is birthday month in our family (and we just added one more last Friday!) so I've been on the hunt for the perfect gifts. Let me give you a run down : my brother-in-law's Grandma's birthday was on the 6th, my new niece, Kendall's, is on the 10th, Seth's mom's best friend (she's like his aunt), Roses's, was on the 11th, Mason's is on the 18th, my niece, Addison's, is on the 20th, my sister-in-law, Erin's, is on the 22nd, Seth's cousin, Jacee's, is on the 23rd, and Seth's dad's is on the 30th. Phew. Are you still with me? Yeah, me neither. So, needless to say, I'm on the hunt for many birthday presents! Luckily most everyone is easy to shop for :)

Doing // Puzzles with my boy. All. The. Puzzles. All. The. Time.

Dreaming about // owning a house. Or owning anything for that matter. We like to daydream about owning a house (and a backyard! I'd loooooooooooove a backyard!) and like to look online all the time even though the majority of them are out of our price range. I also like to dream about decorating a house and pin like a mad woman to my home decor ideas and dream home Pinterest boards.

Drinking // Discounted Peach Green Tea Lemonades. And no, not because they are expired. But because I got a $1 off a Starbucks drink coupon for the Starbucks in our Target! It expired on the 19th and I happened to be there yesterday, so I haaaaad to get a drink. I mean, it was discounted! And even better? I got another coupon at check out for another $1 off a drink! Well played, Target, well played.

Eating // Pizzas on the grill. SO GOOD. I'm obsessed!

Excited about // Being a bridesmaid! And being a Savvy Sassy Scout!

Hating // That I feel like I am constantly behind. I'm sure I've said this before, but I feel like it always applies. Is it just me or could you use an extra 2 hours in the day also?

Listening To // Keith Urban :: John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16

Loving // Watching my boy open birthday presents. I think he finally gets it and it's so cute to see him so excited to open the early birthday presents that he's received. It's so fun seeing life through his eyes and how excited he is for his new presents!

Making // Mason take selfies with me. The kid has mastered the "cheeeee!" and clearly mastered the selfie as well.

Planning // For Christmas. Only half kidding! I actually bought my first Christmas present yesterday when I was at Target (gotta love sales!) and then plan to scope out Amazon Prime Day today for more deals. Now before you go thinking I'm like super woman advance planning, this will probably be my last purchase before, oh, December since I always say I want to start early and then think it's too early and then super procrastinate.
