A few tidbits of what we've been up to recently...
C U R R E N T L Y ::
Doing // Puzzles with my boy. All. The. Puzzles. All. The. Time.
Dreaming about // owning a house. Or owning anything for that matter. We like to daydream about owning a house (and a backyard! I'd loooooooooooove a backyard!) and like to look online all the time even though the majority of them are out of our price range. I also like to dream about decorating a house and pin like a mad woman to my home decor ideas and dream home Pinterest boards.
Drinking // Discounted Peach Green Tea Lemonades. And no, not because they are expired. But because I got a $1 off a Starbucks drink coupon for the Starbucks in our Target! It expired on the 19th and I happened to be there yesterday, so I haaaaad to get a drink. I mean, it was discounted! And even better? I got another coupon at check out for another $1 off a drink! Well played, Target, well played.
Excited about // Being a bridesmaid! And being a Savvy Sassy Scout!
Hating // That I feel like I am constantly behind. I'm sure I've said this before, but I feel like it always applies. Is it just me or could you use an extra 2 hours in the day also?
Listening To // Keith Urban :: John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16
Making // Mason take selfies with me. The kid has mastered the "cheeeee!" and clearly mastered the selfie as well.
Planning // For Christmas. Only half kidding! I actually bought my first Christmas present yesterday when I was at Target (gotta love sales!) and then plan to scope out Amazon Prime Day today for more deals. Now before you go thinking I'm like super woman advance planning, this will probably be my last purchase before, oh, December since I always say I want to start early and then think it's too early and then super procrastinate. I hope to be better this year (but don't hold your breath!) haha! Oh and I might also be planning some super fun blog stuff for Christmas too! #nevertooearly
Reading // Blogs. Per the usual.
Wanting // Frozen Yogurt. Per the usual as well. Give me all the salted caramel frozen yogurt! YUM. And cherries. LOVING cherries these days!
Watching // Baseball. Baseball. And more baseball. And Flip or Flop!
Happy Wednesday! What have you been up to?
July is busy month for birthdays in this household too. Cherries, I eat them everyday while they are in season. Can't get enough. Have a great day Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteHow did you become a sassy savvy scout? That's so cool! I feel like families tend to have birthday months... For mine it's October. October-December actually. We joke that we need someone to have a summer baby immediately!
ReplyDeleteSo many birthdays! Yay for Starbucks! I pretty much always get one when I go to Target.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of birthdays! That pizza looks so yummy, as does the fro-yo. And yay for being a scout! So exciting! :)
ReplyDeleteYour July birthday calendar is a lot like our September birthday calendar! So many all at once.
ReplyDeleteOwning a real home, with a real backyard. Yes. It's literally something we talk about every.single.day.
I got one of those $1 S'bucks a while back, too. It was the most amazing coupon ever printed out at Target. But, I haven't gotten one since.
I can't wait to see what fun you'll have with Sassy Savvy Scout!
I'm allllllllllllways dreaming of the house we will someday own... SOMEDAY! Ugh!

I am totally with you on the Christmas planning part. But I only have one gift bought so far, ha! But I'm headed to Amazon right now to scope out the deals. I have a long list of stuff I need to buy. I'm going to try and have Christmas for our families taken care of before I have this baby!
Looks like you mastered the art of the grilled pizza!

James mentioned he actually liked a Keith Urban song and it's that one but I haven't had the chance to listen to it. I need to look it up.
ReplyDeleteConnor totally gets unwrapping gifts nowadays so I'm really excited for his birthday and Christmas.
Congrats on your Savvy Sassy Scout role!
Your July sounds just like our August. There is a birthday like every other day in our family in August. It’s crazy! I adore that gallery wall! And those grilled pizzas look delicious. What is this Savvy Sassy Scout thing? I saw it on your IG and have been intrigued and curious. Ohh, I haven’t heard that song yet. I like it!!
ReplyDeleteI got my first Christmas present today! That may actually be a first in the history of ever. Now to store it...and actually remember it come December.

Pizzas on the grill?? Did you make those? They look so delicious!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's tough not owning your own house (especially in the blog world), but you live in California!!!! And that is pretty amazing in itself! ;-)
