I don't know how it happened but July got away from me and I didn't have a chance to post this last week. I didn't want to skip it altogether, so I figured later was better than never :)
A couple months ago, I found out through Crystal that Betsy from Heavens to Betsy has this super cool series called The Guys Behind the Blog. Unfortunately it was a little too late to join for March but I joined in April and have been ever since! While I do talk about Seth often, I don't really know if you all know him very well. Enter : this series. Every month Betsy has different prompts that the guys behind the blog answer.
1 // What is your all time favorite food?
Me : Beer.
Seth : Haha! That's a good one.
Seth : No, but seriously, hands down, Chinese food.
2 // Who is the cook between you and your significant other?
HANDS DOWN, ME. Without a doubt, me. There is no competition.
(He's so right! I actually laughed out loud when I read the question to him because I knew the answer already!)
3 // What is the weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
I consider myself an adventurous eater and I like to try new things, but this is weird even for me - tripe. And I really liked it! I like it in menudo and in pho.
4 // Are there any foods that you absolutely detest?
Raspberries.
5 // What is your favorite local, little-known, or hole in the wall place to eat?
What is menudo and pho??? Clearly I'm not an adventurous eater lol. I ran out of time in July too! I'll be posting tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteI love these!
ReplyDeleteFavorite food: Beer. I literally laughed out loud.
But, what is tripe?!! I don't know why, but I would have guessed Seth as more of a Mexican food lover!
Keep doing these. They're hilarious.
What a fun link up, and post! I think I need a snack after reading it! lol ;) Have a great day, Elizabeth! xo - Brenda // Chatting Over Chocolate
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love his answers. Beer, and he’s hands down the best cook?! Maybe the liquid courage helps him come to that conclusion. Haha. Only joking! This is greatness. I don’t even know what Tripe is. I am off to google it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just googled it. Ewww, no thanks!! :)
ReplyDeleteHe hates raspberries?! I don't know why that shocks me lol. You would be so proud, after what, 4 months(?) of wanting to join you in this link up, I have August questions ready! Of course that doesnt mean Brian will participate, but its a step closer!
ReplyDeleteRaspberries, huh? That's a food aversion I've never heard of. I love Chinese too!
ReplyDeletemmm chinese. ewww tripe. they have a haggis thing at the epcot food and wine this year (or perhaps longer, I just saw it this year) - yeah no thanks to that one as well.
ReplyDeleteI love the answer on # one and two! And tripe looks so weird to me but I have heard Pho is really good.
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't like raspberries?! :) And I think beer should be it's own food group for men.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe he doesn't like raspberries!! They are my favourite fruit! (actually I read last week somewhere that raspberries aren't considered fruit? I may have to do more research on this)
ReplyDeleteBeer... bahaha! Oh my goodness Russ is going to be so jealous he didn't think of that one.
ReplyDeleteRaspberries?! Why?! I LOVE them.
Who detests raspberries, ha?! And how awesome that he is such a great cook! I love that Conor is amazing in the kitchen too so we can trade off who is cooking!
ReplyDeleteLove reading these! And beer is totally my husband's favorite food too!
