[Mailman Mason Monday] #postofficeadventuresofmasonb #part7

Monday, March 6, 2017

When we stopped doing the Picture Perfect Project last year, I stopped sharing Mason's post office pictures on the blog. I had deemed it my "photo project of the year" through the PPP and when it ended, I didn't stop taking pictures of him at the post office, but I forgot to share them here too. I was thinking about it the other day and I want to continue to share them here even though I don't technically "have a reason" to each month. So instead of sharing per month, I'm going to share per event cycle (for my work - essentially why we go to the post office so often). We have seven events per year and as the events approach, we go to the post office more often and as they pass, we go less often.

I need to play a little catch up. When I last left you, we had gotten through October 11, 2016.

Here are the pictures that I've shared on Instagram as well as the captions (minus the emojis) that I've shared from October 12, 2016 to November 1, 2016.

10.13.16 // One box. One Express envelope. One Shopkins tree, not pictured. And one sweet little mail man!

10.14.16 // Way late because it's been one of "those" days... but from our trip to the post office this morning! Someone sent something with a signature required so Mason got to ring the bell so I could pick it up.

10.17.16 // @sarahbsides -- look out for a package coming your way! Packaged and sent with love from Mason.

10.17.16 // While umbrellas aren't my favorite things (I find them annoying and bulky), the look on Mason's face and the happiness he got out of using one this morning almost makes me wish it would rain more often so I could pull it out!

10.19.16 // Even on days when we don't go to the post office, the mail boxes just find us! Counting the mail boxes outside of Old Navy!

10.23.16 // Stopped by the post office this morning for a super special project and got to explore all the mail trucks that were parked outside!

10.23.16 // And one more from earlier because... loading dock! And... #chatbooks.

10.31.16 // Was there ever a more perfect Halloween costume for Mason? I think not. More of our post office photo shoot is on the blog!

10.31.16 // And one from our actual trip to the post office this morning. I was only planning on overgramming mail man Mason photos today, but he insisted on taking a photo and I just couldn't say no!

11.1.16 // What a difference a year makes! My little mailman ROCKED it last night! Last year he was shy and timid and I had to encourage him to go up to doors and go with him. I had to say 'trick or treat' and 'thank you' for him because he couldn't. And this year? I had to run to keep up with him because he was SO excited to go house to house and ring the door bells. He said 'trick or treat' and 'thank you' and 'happy halloween' without me even prompting him. I just stood back and watched in awe as to how far he has come in the past year. I am SO proud of him! Halloween this year was amazing!

  1. I would have thought he would have grown out of his love of the post office but boy I'm glad I was wrong! He looks just as happy now visiting as he did in the beginning.

  8. Mason's post office adventures are my favorite!
I can't believe how much Mason has changed! He looks SO little in these.
Also. I think the PO should be paying you for all these pics. It's like free advertising for them!
