[BOY MOMS] Bridget from Life as Bridget Knows It

I'm Bridget and I blog over at 'Life as Bridget Knows It....' when time allows. Thank you so much Elizabeth for allowing me to take over your blog today to brag about how great it is to be a boy mom. I loved reading all the other posts that people wrote about being a boy mom and I was excited to join when you asked!

I became a boy mom on June 2, 2013. Turner came into this world and scared us from the moment he arrived. {birth story here} Now at 18 months old...he's still scaring his mama and I don't mind one bit!

I always envisioned myself being a boy mom. I love that I am the number one female in his life and I hope it stays that way until he finds his wife.

He melts my heart the minute he smiles and bats those long eyelashes at me. This boy seriously knows how to flirt.

I love that he's tough. This kids seriously can fall, run into walls and bang his head numerous times and just keeps going.

I love that right now he's all about trucks, balls and getting dirty. OK, I am lying about the getting dirty part because I am super OCD about being neat and germs...but I know it's good for him so I learn to let my OCD go, a little ;)

I love that our family name will continue on. My husband was the last male in his family carrying the name so the minute we found out we were having a boy...he was elated. Is this super important, no...but it's nice!

 Lastly, I love that I get to teach him to follow God, how to treat a woman and about life. Turner is my greatest accomplishment and I take such pride in being his mama!
