Hey everyone! My name is Jessica, and I post over at All because two people fell in love. I have been a #boymom for 3 whole years now! My oldest Dominick, turned three on November 29th & my baby Aidan turned one on November 5th! Yes, my boys are 23 months apart!
From the moment we got pregnant with Dominick, I just knew we were having a boy. I remember telling my husband at our first sonogram when we heard the heartbeat "its a boy, I just know it"... to which he replied "don't jinx it". Silly husband ;) Being a mom is what I had always wanted to be since as far back as I can remember. My dreams were coming true! I just knew NOTHING about being a #boymom.
From the moment Dominick Vincent made his grand entrance into this world on November 29th 2011, he has had us wrapped around his finger. He took his sweet time (49 1/2 hours after my water broke & excruciating back labor) but he arrived on his terms. He lives his just like that too! On Dominick time we call it ;)
He has always been ready to play & on the move! He is happy, energetic & curious. He loves planes, trains, monster trucks & paw patrol. But more than anything, he loves his Momma <3
And just when I thought my heart was so full it may explode...
We found out in March of 2013 we were expecting, and once again I knew there would be more BLUE in my future!
On November 5th 2013 Aidan Michael was born. (Much shorter labor than his brother, thankfully!!) He has been the perfect addition to our little family. The puzzle piece I never knew was missing! He is so completely different than his brother and surprises us everyday with his happy, silly & adventurous little personality.
I never really was prepared to be a #boymom. I come from a family of girls and I have two younger sisters.
I've never played in the dirt, made car noises to hear a laugh, talked about my favorite color of the choo choo that passes through town or watched the movie Cars so many times I know the lines....until now. Being a #boymom is such a blessing and as much as I constantly feel like I have no idea what I am doing or find myself secretly hoping they love me like this forever... I would not trade being their mom for anything. I feel forever blessed that god chose me for them.
