We met our friends there and Mason was in heaven with his BFF. Randomly he had started asking for him the day before we were going to the pumpkin patch with him so it worked out well!
We saw pumpkins. We took pictures with pumpkins. We went in the "haunted" house. Multiple times. We rode the train. The boys in their big boy seat, together, with no parents. (We were in the seat behind.) We ran around the corn maze and got lost.
We didn't end up buying any pumpkins. We skipped the hay ride. We skipped the face painting and cookie decorating and the bounce house. And instead, we opted for lunch! It was way hotter than we'd hoped it would be and WAYYYYY more crowded than I anticipated, but! overall, we still had a great morning with Mason's BFF and his family.
I'm still hoping to hit up our other favorite pumpkin patch in the area... hopefully next weekend (this weekend Seth and I have to work... boo)!
What kind of Halloween and Fall fun have you been up to?
Link up with us below and show us!
Awww! That looks like so much fun. I love Mason's big smile. And who wouldn't love going to the pumpkin patch with your bestie? Fall is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time!! I love the pumpkin patch so much!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! I can't blame you for waiting at all. Nothing is fun to do when it is 100+ degrees!
ReplyDelete90 degrees is much better than 100. Looks like a fun time despite the heat. All those bff pics are adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! We went to a farm/pumpkin patch on Saturday. We got there when they opened and it was in the upper 60s/lower 70s. It was nice! And then it hit a whoppin' 88 degrees. Weather is so weird. We hardly ever buy the overpriced pumpkins at the pumpkin patch! Walmart is so much cheaper.
ReplyDeleteSo fun. I don't blame you for skipping out of things. I can't wait to hit up our pumpkin patch!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the how tall now sign thing! I love that we found one last year, and I hope they are still going to have it all. I know it got postponed because of the hurricane. But then we had to postpone Canadian Thanksgiving so I have like 45 fall fests to go to during the last two weekends lol. We shall see how that goes...gosh I hope the weather is cooler. We've got 80s which is sort of okay I guess, but 70s would be even better..just saying weather!
ReplyDeleteSo, the picture of Mason with his arm around his little buddy is just darling! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteAwww! This is so much fun!!! I'm glad you guys had a great time- your pictures are wonderful. As always!
ReplyDeleteFun, fun fun!! Where did you get your dress? It's the perfect shape and color!
ReplyDeleteMason looks so happy there! He always looks happy; I love that about him! But no pumpkins? Obviously you have more visits ahead of you this month!
ReplyDeleteI've been planning our trip to the pumpkin patch around the weather, too! It's sad we think 85 is acceptable. HA!! We're planning to go this weekend and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that the temps aren't even supposed to hit 80.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you all had the best time, and so fun that Mason's best friend was there, too!
Wow that is hot for the typically fall pumpkin patch! That's cool how much they offer there though! But lunch definitely wins out on a hot day!
ReplyDeleteWe love the pumpkin patch here too!
ReplyDeleteYay for fun pumpkin patches, we have to hit that one up, but it's probably just going to get more crowded as the month passes...too bad we'll miss you at the other pumpkin patch this weekend...:) One day we'll meet up!
ReplyDeleteWe're headed to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend and I'm so excited!! Hoping MAYBE we can get a nice family pictures...hahahah, we'll see.
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the heat! Where is the Fall weather this year? Your pumpkin patch looks like so much fun. I am loving your outfit by the way!
ReplyDeleteMason is looking so long-legged lately! Growth spurt? Love your Carly!!
ReplyDeleteCan I be nosy? Did you have to teach Mason to look at the camera or does he really do it on instinct?
ReplyDeleteLove your Carly dress ;)
ReplyDeleteBut yes... about the pumpkin patch. I love that you could join Mason on the train ride. We can't do that at ours. It's for kids only.
