If you remember what happened last month, you remember that I broke the rules and spent $32 since the link up occurred on my birthday. This month, no birthday, no special budget, so I'm back with my finds for $10!
In one of the groups that I'm in on Facebook, someone recommended this drink. I had no idea what it was, but upon asking some questions, I learned that this is actually spiked seltzer water with a hint of flavor. . Hmm. Sounds interesting. I knew immediately that I wanted to save this and try it out for my $10 at Target. I try not to buy any necessities with my $10 budget and strictly stick to something fun and this totally fit the bill. I hate to say that I still haven't tried one (I only bought them a few days ago and then had to work all weekend), but that's the truth. I plan to have one tonight so I can definitely report back, but I'm assuming it's going to be pretty tasty!
And now for the Twix... well... I had a little extra money left over and Twix is my favorite Halloween candy! And it was only $1.00 AND in the shape of ghosts!
Since I bought these along with some other items, I don't have a receipt to show, but here's the breakdown.
Drink: $8.49
CRV: $0.30
Twix: $1.00
Tax (8%) : $0.00 ("to go" food)
Minus RED Card discount : ($0.49)
Total : $9.79

Wahoo! Love what you picked. Twix is one of my favorites and I rarely buy them. I've just recently gotten into sparkling water and that one sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteOoohhhh definitely report back for sure. Happy Monday friend.
ReplyDeleteWhite Claw is amazing! It is super light and refreshing! We found it at the beach over the summer and it made the perfect beach day drink! I can't wait to hear what you think of it! Definitely the best spiked seltzer!
ReplyDeleteUnder budget hooray!! We had our Canadian Thanksgiving yesterday and I was bummed that I couldn't try any of the ciders and chocolate vodka...gosh darn pregnancy! That drink sounds great for warm weather, but you live in CA so it counts year round =)
ReplyDeleteThats awesome :)

I love the seasonal candies (Twix, Snickers, Reese). They always seem so much fresher to me. I can’t wait until you try those drinks and report back how they are.
ReplyDeleteYou always share such tasty looking drinks but I just can't do seltzer water. I've tired so many different brands and nothing works for me.
ReplyDeleteBut Twix? I can get on board with that :)
I'm loving this hard seltzer trend; they are so good! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteOoh let us know how they are!
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a seltzer water gal, but I can totally see how people would love these if they were! I tried Twisted... it's similar I think, and it wasn't bad.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'd only want to spend my $10 on booze, so I whole heartedly approve.
ReplyDeleteHappy hour at your house..!! Those look interesting, can't wait to hear how they are.
ReplyDeleteInteresting Seltzer and that Twix looks good.

Spiked seltzer?? I can't wait to hear how it tastes. :)
ReplyDeleteHave you ever noticed that candy in the shape of something tastes so much better than the regular shape?
ReplyDeleteThrow in a little adult kick with that drink and I bet it's amazing.
ReplyDeleteAlso. I had no idea Twix had Halloween bars!
Nice job. Hope you like the drink!
